Our goal is to have all our church members engaged in a long-term Grow Group for Biblical discipleship, fellowship, worship and service as we align with our vision to Know, Grow with and Show Jesus in daily living.
We offer ongoing Sunday School for all ages and a variety of Grow Group bible studies. We currently have over 6 options for adult meeting times! Don’t miss out – join one today! The purpose of Adult Discipleship is to facilitate the growth of the community of faith in Pontiac as disciples of Jesus Christ. This includes maintaining grow groups and Sunday School classes, providing short term opportunities for spiritual growth, helping Christians assess their level of faith and spirituality, and developing a plan for individuals to grow as disciples.
The word disciple means to follow or learn from someone. A disciple is a student learning from a teacher. Our teacher is Christ and it is only when we spend time with Him, listen to Him, and follow Him that we are disciples.
