Dear Church Family,
Recently a survey was taken regarding the possibility of our congregation leaving the United Methodist Church.
By a vote of 69 percent to 31 percent survey respondents expressed a preference for remaining United Methodist.
The survey questions were as follows:
Should we stop now and remain United Methodist?
Should we continue discerning (meaning to understand clearly) if we should disaffiliate (meaning leave) the United Methodist Church?
A total of 194 responses were received. The final survey tally was 134-60 in favor of remaining United Methodist.
